DIEGOの営業について、大切なお知らせがあります。

2026年5月末をもって、今の形での営業にひと区切りつけることになりました。
 

この夏は、まず店舗の大規模な改装工事を行います。

その後夏ごろを目処に、これまでのDIEGOのメンバーが中心となって、ピザ専門店を新しくオープンする予定です。

2010年のオープンから15年以上が過ぎ、当初はDIEGOの営業が中心だったこの施設にも
それぞれの志をもった活動や商いを行う仲間が集ってくれるようになりました。

オープン当初は「海辺の食堂」として国籍やスタイルに囚われない料理を提供してきたDIEGO。

月日が経ち自分たちのあり方を見つめ直す時期に来たのでは、と強く感じています。

ただ、DIEGOが始まってから蒔き続けた種を、新しいお店を始めとして、「BY THE RIVER」の施設に 集った仲間たちが今後もさらに芽吹かせてくれるだろうと確信しています。

そして、今後このアカウントは「BY THE RIVER」に集まった仲間たちに関するトピックを発信するアカウントとして運用していく予定です。

またDIEGOという名前もこれまでのカフェダイナーとは違った別の形で、 皆さまに豊かな食を提供する活動を行うべく、現在準備を進めています。

15年間、DIEGOに足を運んでくださった全ての皆さまへ、心からの感謝を込めて。

これから始まる「BY THE RIVER」の新しい物語も、どうぞ温かく見守っていただけますと幸いです。

Important News from DIEGO

All good things must come to an end, and we are officially calling it a day on our current setup at the end of May 2026.

This summer, we are giving the place a total makeover.

Once the dust settles, our core team will be back in action to kick off a brand-new pizza spot later in the season.

​

Since setting sail back in 2010 as a casual "seaside eatery," we have spent over 15 incredible years here. Over time, like-minded folks have joined us at BY THE RIVER, bringing new energy to the space. With all these changes, we felt it was time to turn the page and start a fresh chapter.

​

That said, the seeds we have sown over the years are bound to keep blooming through our new restaurant and the community here.

​

Looking ahead, this page will focus on highlighting our partners at BY THE RIVER.

Meanwhile, we are working on something new under the DIEGO name behind the scenes to keep serving up great food.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for riding this wave with us for the past 15 years.
